Moving forward through ‘Unprecedented Times’

It’s not gone unnoticed by us that these are ‘unprecedented times’, a phrase so well-used currently that it seems pointless to say it again. However, despite its excessive occurrence, it’s certainly true.  Every single person is experiencing something new, something destructive, and something scary; and we are no different.

Seventh-Wave’s main focus, stretching all the way back to the distant BC (‘before corona’) years, has always been people. We love going into businesses, making connections with our clients, and seeing them improve and grow before our eyes. The experience of being in a room with a group of excited, determined, and talented individuals is something we never took for granted, and just as well. It seems now, it will be a while until we can hold workshops in the same ways we did in those BC years.

“The experience of being in a room with a group of excited, determined, and talented individuals is something we never took for granted, and just as well.”

We are very conscious of the fact that all business are going through extremely challenging times, navigating this new climate of furloughed workers, strict distancing rules, and increasing numbers of employees working from home. We are also conscious of the fact that, due to these challenges, the last thing any business wants is a training company selling mercilessly to them.

We know all this, and we understand. So, we are adjusting to this current situation by offering virtual training sessions via ZOOM to anyone who needs them, with plenty of slots available to ensure great flexibility to work around each individual’s changing schedules. We can offer our classic Seventh-Wave programme, or bespoke individual sessions, depending on what you need or can accommodate at the moment. We are confident in the relationships that have been established through our programme, and we will wait until these businesses have the capacity to ask us back for training. No expectations, no rush.

“In short, we will do what it takes to help you and your teams, and to do so safely.”

We are strictly following the governmental guidelines, and when we are given the all-clear, we will be thrilled to be back with your teams in person. When this is possible, all the necessary risk assessments will be done, and we will ensure that social distancing rules are met, which may result in slightly smaller group sizes, or slightly larger venues. No trainers with symptoms of Covid-19 will be sent to give workshops, and we will establish a high level of sanitation in any venue we work in. In short, we will do what it takes to help you and your teams, and to do so safely. The safety of our clients is our priority, closely followed by giving them a great training experience, and so there is no hurry to get back to in person training. So for now, while we wait for the government’s go-ahead, we feel confident that we can offer the same standard of training virtually in the meantime.

“We feel confident that we can offer the same standard of training virtually in the meantime.”

These are indeed ‘unprecedented times’ (one more time can’t hurt), so we must act in unprecedented ways. For Seventh-Wave, this means waiting out the storm, and perhaps not helping as many individuals as we would like. We will always be available to anyone who is in need of top-tier people training, and can assure anyone who is concerned that the health of our clients and colleagues will always be at the forefront of our decisions.

So, if and when you need us, we will be at the end of the line ready-to-go. We might even throw in a few virtual high-fives, just to keep on brand.
